It is the seven wonder of the world.It is situated at the bank of river Yamuna.It is made of white marble.It's construction begain in 1631 and finished in 1963.It is made by Mugal Emperor Shahjaha in 16th century in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal and also give it a name taj mahal on the bases of  his wife name.It is a fine example of how deeply a man loved his wife.He is 14 years of old when he met Mumtaz and fell in love with her.After Five years in 1612, they got married.Mumtaz Mahal, very loved by Shah Jahan, died in 1631,while giving birth to their 14th child.It was not designed by a single person. The project demanded the various talents, creativity, artistry, skills and abilities of many persons.The Persian architect, Ustad Isa and Isa Muhammad, trained by the great Ottoman architect, Koca Mimar Sinan Agha, is credited with a great role in the architectural design of this building.The main dome was designed by Ismail Khan from the Ottoman Empire.Soon after the Taj Mahal's completion, Shah Jahan was deposed by his son Aurangzeb,who put under house arrest at nearby Agra Fort. Upon Shah Jahan's death, Aurangzeb buried him in the mausoleum next to his wife.Every year here comes millinums of tourist from each corners of the world.This is the best Tourism Place in India.It also show What the Old India Was?


Taj Mahal's open Timing:  6:00 am to 7:30 pm (Friday closed)
                                             The tickets counter remains open only till 5:30 pm

                                    The Taj Mahal is located in Agra, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, approximately 200 kilometers (125 miles)   aprts from Delhi,the capital of India.


The Taj Mahal is also open for moonlight viewing from 8.30 p.m. until 12.30 a.m., two days before and after each full moon.
